The system operates in time-of-flight (TOF) mode for accurate mass MALDI/MS and MS/MS experiments, and in ion mobility/TOF mode for ion mobility separation-based studies. The accurate MS and MS/MS capabilities of MALDI Synapt HDMS enable optimal results in proteomics, pharmaceutical and imaging experiments; IMS capabilities enable the separation of previously insoluble isobaric ions.
