About Sewer Trucks

A sewer truck is a specialized vacuum vehicle designed to clean, clear, and maintain underground sewer and drainage systems. Using high-pressure water jets and powerful suction, these trucks dislodge blockages, remove debris, and pump out waste material from municipal and industrial sewer lines, catch basins, and lift stations. They are also commonly referred to as vactor trucks, a term widely used in the industry to describe this same class of combination jetting and vacuum equipment.

Sewer trucks are built on heavy-duty commercial chassis from manufacturers such as Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Mack, Sterling, Western Star, and Ford, each offering the frame strength and engine capacity needed to support the tank, pump, and hydraulic systems these vehicles require.
