A quickly adjustable stop with pneumatic locking mechanism centers the workpiece within the machine. Upon foot pedal activation, the workpiece is pneumatically clamped and automatically conveyed to the drilling unit (30 m/min). Vertical spindles drill from below, ensuring that chips do not remain on the workpiece as they would on conventional machining centers. The horizontal spindles work on two sides of the workpiece.
