- BioSpec-nano Spectrophotometer A spectrophotometer for Life Science research. BioSpec-nano is a spectrophotometer dedicated to testing the concentration and purity of nucleic acid and protein samples. The device requires 1 to 2 µl of sample. The measurement consists of applying a drop of sample to the detection window using a pipette and pressing the [Start] button on the program screen to start the automatic approximation of the measuring lenses, performing the measurement and finally automatically removing the sample from the detection window. It is not necessary to make corrections to the vertical settings or manually wipe the detection window with a cloth. Dedicated software simplifies the use of the device. Just click the button on the toolbar to perform basic operations for a given measurement, print reports and export data.
